Firms from across Texas honored as “Champions of Justice”
The Commission kicked off Texas Pro Bono Week during a reception honoring law firms and attorneys who support access to justice efforts in Texas. These firms were recognized for their outstanding support of the Justice for All Campaign, which supports and sustains legal aid programs. This year's Campaign raised more than $1,481,000 from more than 10,000 attorneys across Texas who made a voluntary Access to Justice contribution. More »

Texas Senator Judith Zaffirini Appointed to the Texas Access to Justice Commission

Joe Jamail Endowment Aims to Support Free Legal Services for Texas Veterans
To honor Joe Jamail’s legacy, his commitment to justice and his commitment to veterans, I have worked with the Texas Access to Justice Foundation (TAJF) to launch the Joe Jamail Endowment for Veteran Legal Services. The Endowment will ensure that Texas veterans have access to the free legal help they need to successfully integrate back into civilian life and secure the rights and benefits for which they risked their lives.
